Bitlocker option do not appear at  drive D when I try to bitlock it
Dear All! I have one drive with two active primary partition. One is the drive C the other is D I use tpm+pin and it works find just I can't bitlock the drive d. The bitlock drive option can't be seen. Its not there. I know that there is a bootable files on drive D and I guess this is the reason , because when I shrink the volume to a smaller size and removed letter from it and created another drive D, there was the bitlock drive option. I'd like to ask is there any good way to handle this without loosing all the data on drive D and C as well. Other words can I move to drive C all bootable content and bitlock drive D. Any idea would be useful :) Thanks Regards Ropy

Hi, I would like to ask you several questions to trouble shooting this problem: Did you do some improper operation in system partition? Some customer remove the windows 7 system partition in order to get more space, but it would be caused some boot issues and losing Bitlocker functions problem.Which Windows 7 edition do you use? From now on, just Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate editions can provide Bitlocker function. After that you can use Bitlocker from control panel to try: I. Click Start button, click Control Panel , click All Control Panel Items , and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption . II. Under BitLocker Drive Encryption Hard Disk Drives , click the Turn on BitLocker option for the drive you wish to encrypt. This starts the encryption wizard and it will scan your computer to make sure that it meets the BitLocker system requirements. If your computer meets the requirements, BitLocker will inform you of the next steps that need to be taken to turn on BitLocker and you can just follow the wizard to finish it.

Hi Spencer Xi, No fat32 it's ntfs I did no operation on system partition. Its w7 enterprise applied from image that i created with waik and applied with imagex. Both partions with diskpart set to active and primary. This was the problem I guess because it put boot files to d. Now I changed to extended and logical partition the drive d and than ist fine,(i mean in the imaging file) however some of the laptops that I applied from image has this issue and this is why i asked how can I move system files to c from d because I dont wanna recreate all from the begining. thanks

Hi, You should know there's no built-in tool to help you move system files to c from d. You need 3rd part disk utility to try.
